Driving Directions:
The GRA ring road, which skirts Rome, leads to the A12 highway direct to Fiumicino; from here, passengers should follow signposts to the airport.

Car Parking:
Multi-storey car parks A-D are directly linked to the terminals via pedestrian walkways; the long-term car park on the motorway from Rome to Fiumicino is served by a shuttle bus which runs every 15 minutes to/from the terminals.

Transport:
Rail: Train: There is an hourly express train service to Rome’s Termini Station (journey time: 30 minutes). A slower train service (destination ‘Orte’ or ‘Fara Sabina’) leaves every 20 minutes stopping at local stations on the way to centrally-located Tiburtina. For arrivals between 2330 and 0500 there is a night bus service to Tiburtina station (0115-0500); buses leave from close to International Terminal Arrivals. Road: Taxi: Taxis to the centre are readily available: take a licensed metered taxi only. An airport surcharge is payable.

Facilities:
Money and communications: Facilities include 24-hour bureaux de change, ATMs and post offices. Eating and drinking: There are bars and restaurants at the airport. Shopping: There are duty-free and other shops. Other facilities: A pharmacy, medical office for vaccinations and disabled passengers' lounges are available.

Business:
There is an Executive Centre, open 0700-2300, located on the third level of the Terminal A pier providing meeting rooms, video-conferencing facililties, multilingual secretaries, translation and interpretation services, as well as conference organisation.

Hotels:
The Hilton Airport Hotel (tel: (0)6 65 258; fax: (0)6 6525 6525) is the only hotel on the airport site; it is linked by walkways to the terminals. Other hotels in the area include the Holiday Inn Rome (tel: (0)6 65581) and the Sheraton Roma (tel: (0)6 54531) which is roughly halfway between the airport and the city centre; both hotels offer a shuttle bus service to/from the airport. A hotel reservation service is available at the airport (tel: (0)6 6595 8684).

Disabled:
Disabled passengers' lounges are situated at the International Terminal near Gates C12 and B1, open 0700-2300 daily, and at the Domestic Terminal in the Arrivals hall, open 0600-0000 daily. When booking a flight, passengers with disabilities are asked to specify the type of assistance needed. Parking Spaces for disabled drivers are available at the long-term car park and on the first level of multi-storey car parks B-C and the fourth level of car park D.
