Driving Directions:
To reach the airport from the north, take Hwy-A1 Porto/Lisbon and then the 2ª Circular; from Torres Vedras, take Hwy-A8, then CRIL (IC 17) and then 2ª Circular; from the south, cross the Vasco da Gama bridge, and take the 2ª Circular or cross the 25 de Abril bridge, take the Norte/Sul axis and then the 2ª Circular; from Cascais/Estoril, take Hwy-A5, then CRIL (IC 17) and then the 2ª Circular.
Car Parking:
There are various short- and long-term parking options. P1 and P2 are short-term parking garages with direct access to the terminal. P1 is located near Departures and P2 can be found near Arrivals. P3 is a long-term outdoor car park. The short- and long-term car parks are located to the right of the terminal at the entrance to the airport. A free airport bus shuttle service links the car parks and the terminal.
Transport:
Road: Taxi: Taxis are available 24 hours a day. Bus: The CARRIS AeroBus no. 91 departs every 20 minutes 0745-2045 to the city centre (journey time: 20 minutes) and to the Cais do Sodré railway station. Tickets can be purchased on board and are valid on the same day for any other ride on the bus and tram network. Local buses nos. 5, 22, 44 and 83 operate 0600-2130 and bus no. 45 runs 0600-0115.
Facilities:
Money and communications: Facilities include a bank and two 24-hour bureaux de change, a post office and ATMs. A VAT refund desk can be found in the boarding lounge next to Gate 17, open 0700-0130. Eating and drinking: There are 24-hour restaurant facilities. Shopping: Shops include duty free. Luggage: The lost property office is located in the baggage reclaim area. Other facilities: An insurance desk is located at the check-in area, open 0700-2000. There are baby care areas, a first aid room and showers at the boarding lounge.
Business:
The Icaro (near the Transit Room and open 0800-2400) and Ulisses (near the South Bus Gate and open 0600-2400) lounges in the airport’s transit area can provide basic facilities including Internet, payphone and fax. TAP and PORTUGÁLIA also have their own lounges.

There are no hotels at the airport. The nearest hotels are the Radisson (tel: (0)21 757 0909) and the Melia Comfort Oriente (tel: (0)21 893 0000). Other hotels in Lisbon include the Holiday Inn Continental (tel: (0)21 793 5005) and the Sheraton (tel: (0)21 312 0000).
Disabled:
There are ramps, lifts, specially adapted telephones and toilets. Wheelchairs can be provided by airlines and airline staff can also help wheelchair passengers through customs and immigration. Disabled car parking spaces are available. There are two lifts to take passengers to different levels.
