From the capital, Arrecife, which is 5km (3 miles) from the airport, take the Autovia Arrecife-Yaiza and follow signs for the airport. Car Parking: Car parking (tel: (0)928 846 270) is available at the airport; the first 30 minutes is free, after which the charge is calculated on an hourly basis. Transport: Road: Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport (journey time to Arrecife: 5-7 minutes). Bus: Buses operate to/from Arrecife bus station every 30 minutes Monday-Friday 0820-1920 and every 30 minutes Saturdays and Public Holidays 0820-1750. Facilities: Money and Communications: There are six ATMs at the airport, and a bureau de change in Departures. Eating and drinking: Facilities include cafés, restaurants, an icecream parlour and fast food outlets. Shopping: Shops include a newsagents, florist, and shops selling jewellery, clothes and local products. Other facilities: There is a pharmacy at the airport.
