Driving Directions:
The airport can be accessed from north London via the North Circular Road (A406), from south London via the Blackwall Tunnel, from east London via the A13 and from the M11 via the A406 (North Circular). The airport is 13km (8 miles) from the West End of London, via the Limehouse link tunnel.

Car Parking:
The main car park is situated adjacent to the terminal; no pre-booking is required and payment can be made at automated payment machines inside the terminal entrance (cash and major credit cards are accepted). There is also a business car park at the airport.

Public Transport: Rail: Train: The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) runs from Bank, Tower Gateway, Lewisham and Greenwich to Canary Wharf and an airport shuttle bus connection, Silverlink metro, runs from Richmond to Canning Town via Stratford. Road: Taxi: Taxis leave from in front of the terminal building (journey time into central London: approximately 20/30 minutes). The new Excel exhibition centre is 5 minutes from the airport by taxi. Bus: Airport shuttle buses connect with underground stations and the DLR. The Green Bus runs between Canning Town and the airport every 5 minutes 0600-2200 Monday-Friday, 0600-1300 Saturday and 1000-2200 Sunday (journey time: approximately 5 minutes). The Blue Bus runs between the airport and Liverpool Street via Canary Wharf 0615-2200 Monday-Friday, 0615-1310 Saturday and 1030-2200 Sunday (journey time: approximately 25 minutes). Bus no. 69 runs to the airport from Walthamstow and North Woolwich and bus no. 473 runs from Stratford and North Woolwich; bus no. 473 also runs to the new Excel exhibition centre.
