Driving Directions:
From Philadelphia city centre, take Interstate 95 (I-95) south to the Philadelphia International Airport exit or take 76 east, following signs for the airport. From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take the Mid-County exit (Route 476), then take 476 south (Chester) to I-95, and I-95 north to the airport exit. From the New Jersey Turnpike, take exit 3 to the Walt Whitman Bridge. After the toll plaza, stay in the far right lane and take I-95 south to the airport exit. From Delaware, take I-95 north to the airport exit.
Car Parking:
Long-term garage parking is available in terminals A, B, C and D. Economy parking is available at an off-site car park which is serviced by a free 24-hour shuttle service. Short-term parking has been discontinued for terminals A and B and severely restricted for terminals C and D. For further parking information (tel: 215 683 9840).
Transport:
Rail: Train: SEPTA's R1 high speed rail line provides a service between each terminal and central Philadelphia (journey time: approximately 20 minutes), with trains departing every 30 minutes 0600-0000. SEPTA (tel: 215 580 7800 or TDD: 215 580 7712) also provides transport to Amtrak's 30th Street Station and the Greyhound Bus Terminal. Road: Taxi: Taxis are available 24 hours a day and cost a flat rate to the city centre; there is also a shuttle van/limousine service.
Facilities:
Money and communications: ATMs, bureaux de change and self-service postal centres are all available at the airport. Data ports are located in every terminal; a café in Terminal D offers Internet kiosks. Eating and drinking: There are many restaurants and cafés situated throughout the airport. Shopping: Duty-free shopping is available in Terminal A-East and A-West. Luggage: A lost property service is available (tel: 215 937 6888). Other facilities: These include a hospital, AED units (defibrillators), a hospitality service for passengers stranded during emergencies.
Business:
Fax machines can be found at bureaux de change throughout the airport. Services available at Mailboxes, Etc. in the terminal A-B link include office supplies, fax, printing and copying services, stamps, metered mail, packaging, shipping and Internet access. The US Airways Business Centre (tel: 610 362 4333) offers photocopying, PC and laser printing, fax and document shredding facilities, as well as meeting and conference rooms with speakerphones for up to ten people. Audiovisual equipment, secretarial services and catering are also available.

Disabled:
Disability access includes accessible toilets, amplified and TDD telephones, Braille signage and raised numbering on lifts and ATMs. The airport produces a special information leaflet entitled Getting Around, which can be sent to disabled travellers. Disabled parking is available (tel: 215 683 9840) and all shuttle buses have wheelchair lifts. Hand control vehicles can be hired from all of the airport's car rental agencies, although 72 hours advance notice may be required.
