The airport is located at the mid-point between Raleigh and Durham, off I-40 and US 70. From Raleigh and other locations east of the airport, take I-40 west to exit 285 (Aviation Parkway). From Durham and other locations west of the airport, take I-40 east to exit 284B. Follow signs to available parking, rental car return or the terminals.

Car Parking:
There are five Park & Ride car parks (tel: 919 840 2140) with courtesy bus services serving the terminals every 15 minutes 0500-0100 or until the last flight arrives. Travellers are advised to follow the electronic signs informing drivers of the nearest available car park.
