Driving Directions:
Baldorioty de Castro Avenue runs west from the airport past the Isla Verde, Ocean Park and Condado sectors into Old San Juan. The Isla Verde, Ocean Park and Condado tourist areas are connected to each other by Isla Verde Avenue, McLeary Street and Ashford Avenue in Condado. Baldorioty de Castro Avenue also runs eastwards from the San Juan metropolitan area connecting to Highway 3 past the towns of Carolina, Loíza, Canóvanas, Rio Grande, Luquillo and Fajardo to the southeastern town of Humacao.

Car Parking:

Transport:
There is a ground transportation information desk at the airport which gives information and books tickets for all types of travel. Road: Taxi: Taxis are available from the first level of each terminal (journey time to San Juan: 30 minutes). Puerto Rico has both ordinary taxis and Taxis Turisticos with a special knowledge of tourist areas. Limousine: Limousines are also available. Bus: Regular buses and airport shuttles run to San Juan, where there is a half-hourly ferry service from Pier 2 across the bay to Catano.

The Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort (tel: 787 791 0404), situated 1km (0.5 miles) from the airport, has four meeting rooms and a fully equipped business centre, with PCs and printers available. Facilities for frequent flyers and businessmen are located at the American Airlines Admiral’s Club in Terminal D, including free local calls, photocopying and fax service, and FedEx drop off. Other executive lounges include the Delta Airlines Crown Room in Terminal B and also at the Continental Airlines President’s Club in Terminal C.
